Madworld Updated Hands On > |
2009/02/17 15:00:32: Posted by DM | |
Gamesotp has posted an updated hands on, now that the release date for MadWorld is rapidly approaching. Now that they have had a chance to explore the game's mechanics and play, they also got a handle on the sotryline. The game tells its tale via still images, in comic book panel style. Minor spoilers ahead, folks. You begin on an island which has been, um, appropriated by criminals. All law enforcement is warned to stay away, and the locals are being terrorized, at the very least. The local technology has been appropriated as well, and it is being used to broadcast the violent killings of all people who the criminals deem worthy of death. Of course, in the absence of police, it is up to you to decide what monthyou are going to do. It is all a bit "Escape from New York," it seems. With all the controversy surrounding the violence, though, it should sell very well.
