Crytek Ready For New Home Consoles > |

Crytek CEO Cevat Yerli spoke with GI about their latest technology, the Cry Engine 3. The developer is ready for a new generation of home consoles, as the new technology is easily adaptable to any new hardware. Yerli said that he does not want his studio nor anyone who uses their Cry Engine 3 as an off-the-shelf solution to become victims of changing hardware. This is why Yerli designed the new engine with future hardware in mind. He expects a new slew of consoles by 2012, which is not really that far away, folks.
