Nintendo Defends Slower Sales Of GTA Chinatown Wars On DS > |

Nintendo of America is expecting GTA: Chinatown Wars on the DS to pick up in sales as this year goes on. The lower first-month sales were a disappointment, but many now-top titles started out the same way, such as Spore or LEGO Star Wars, says Nintendo. The game was reviewed well by most outlets, but only racked up 89,000 US sales so far. Both Spore and the LEGO game only picked up sales after a month or two. Time will tell if this is the same case with GTA.
