Wii Internet Channel Now Free, Paid Users Get Compensation >
2009/09/01 11:26:12: Posted by DM
Nintendo has dropped the fee for the Wii Internet Channel. Users who previous paid for the service will be offered a free NES game in October to compensate. Why they cannot just be refunded the Wii points, we have no idea. The internet channel was originally free for a period of time when the Wii went on sale initially, and became a fee-based service once the browser was finalized. Now the Opera-based browser is free for all.
