New Xbox360 Game To Require Hard Drive To Play >
2006/02/07 11:01:21: Posted by DM
We do not usually post packshots here as they really serve no purpose, so unless they are notable we refrain. Well oh boy, is this one notable. Certainly not an a-list game, but Football Manager 2006 will require a HDD unit to play the game in any form. No memory card allowed. We guess this goes against MS's claims that you will not need a HDD to play any game. Oh boy. Click on the news title to see the packshot for yourself.

guess ms lied about not needed an hdd for all games

Dude, get a real screenshot for Football Manager. Stop using Fifa's.

And it's pretty obvious that Football Manager will require a lot of space to save to, so that'll rule out the memory card.

MS response: Oops!

Big deal. It's a lot of data. Honestly, did you really expect Microsoft to keep that promise? Sure, if Microsoft controls that studio...

And who complaining about it would actually play it...show of hands? This is nothing more than a fanboy lightning rod and everyone knows it. Get back to reporting the real news.

I could care less! I wouldn't play that game anyways. Besides if I ever do, I have a premium.

Majority of people that bought 360s were looking for the premium version anyway so no big deal.

The Marvel MMORPG from ms game studios should also require the HDD as well from what I understand.

Most of the people that brought a core was because they didn't have an option. Besides as per the press 4 accessories per unit sold I imagine one of those was a hard drive.

"Certainly not an a-list game"

Having played the series for close to 7-8 years, I can safely say this is a A-LIST game.

Great 'news' post...
