Hollywood Producer Comments On Onimusha Movie >
2006/04/13 20:43:46: Posted by DM
Apparently Hollywood's new idea goldmine is video games. Now that Silent Hill and Resident Evil are out the door, the next big video game based movie is, apparently, Onimusha. According to Hollywood producer Samuel Hadida, Onimusha is going to be true to the Samurai time period, and feature big-budget action. For the love of god, no Uwe Boll please.

Onimusha will be an exciting movie that will be faithful to the game and to the Samurai and the 18th Century Japanese time period," said Hadida, who noted that a director for the project will be chosen in about a month. "This will be another big budget project that will have large armies, period sets, costumes, and a lot of special effects. There will be a lot of outdoor sequences, but the film will also have castles and other interior sets that will need to be designed.

ONIMUSHA MOVIE.

Chris Gans is working on the film of another video game adaptation Onimusha,Uwe Boll is not apart of this.

Gans will do Onimusha if he gets the right connections

when the production starts soon.

Mortal Kombat 3 will get into the production if Threshold sets up the news in the upcoming months,Threshold CEO Larry Kasanoff would be keen if talks to Capcom on signing up on the Darkstalkers movie project.

See U Later.

Hey Bruce, please tell me that they're not going to really caste that weird-looking chick for Felicia in the upcoming Darkstalkers movie. ...Please...? I read the cast that they had so far on the list you gave on a website somewhere, and when I found out they were thinking of using the girl who used to be Punky Brewster (who by the way, judging by her most recent looks, AIN'T "Felicia-material").I say that they get somebody random to play felicia. Somebody who's an almost nobody, the way they did with Christian Bale for the role of the most recent Batman. And Kief Sutherland as Donovan?...Mate...you need to get a serious buggering in a thunderbox before that ever becomes a reality. And you can tell the folks at Threshold Ent. that I said so.

Fix it, period.

TEKKEN MOVIE PLOT RE-WRITE AND VIRTUA FIGHTER MOVIE

The film version of Tekken would be loosey based on the game it will suck, the plot should be focus on early Tekken games like Tekken 2 script to put into the movie and it needs to focus on kazuya Mishima fighting against Heihachi Mishima and it should have Jun Kazuma and other Tekken characters in the movie and the story needs to good and not too cheesy like other video game movies.

If Virtua Fighter goes to the big screen it will be loosey based from the games it will have the characters from Virtua Fighter 5 in the movie and Jackie Chan and Simon West should a go on making the film.

Thank You
