	Namco has officially announced the title we have all known are coming. On top of that they have officially announced that the game will be showing at this year's E3. NAMCO BANDAI Games America Inc.'s highly-anticipated content offerings for the next generation of consoles will include a variety of its signature franchises as well as introducing some new and exciting IP's into the HD era. Triple-A franchises including Tekken and Ridge Racer will both be making their way to the PLAYSTATION(R)3 computer entertainment system. Ridge Racer(R) 7 will bring racing excitement to a new level when it ships to PLAYSTATION 3, while TEKKEN(R) 6 will pack a punch as an acclaimed fighting franchise. Taking full advantage of the Xbox 360(TM) video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, MOBILE OPS(TM): The One Year War will take mechanized warfare to the next level as the player enters the intense battlefields of The One Year War as a soldier who fights by foot, in vehicles and in a wide array of mecha. Boasting online play and high definition graphics, Mobile Ops: The One Year War will bring the battlefield into the player's living room in the most immersive mech-action game to date. Also making its way to the Xbox is the newest installment of the popular card battle series, Culdcept Saga. The popular puzzle series' latest installment is being developed by Omiya Soft and will feature exciting online battle via Xbox Live. It's Crazy how faithful Namco is To Sony with the Tekken series. I would love to see this game on the 360. Games like Tekken will definitely boost the sales of the 360 in Japan if that would ever occur. As for Ridge Racer its getting to appoint that they need to either rethink of how the game should play or just stop making it all together. Now only if EA could bring me a Next Gen Road Rash. So I could be a happy camper.

Hello. RicHard, you're right about that. Namco is a good company. They also need to come out with something totally new & innovative, not some more sequals & rehashes. Wow Tekken..uuhmm ..6 then it'll be tekken...16. Please. One game doesn't make me go out & spend $400+ dollars.

NAMCO listen up. Develope games on all platforms. The company will make more money. Look @ UbiSoft & EA. They know how to make the money & they're a HUGE company.

Nothing like tekken would boost 360 sales in japan in my opinion. DOA4 managed to land #4 in the top 10 sales chart. I don't think another 360 game in japan will do that till sakaguchi's games. Its obvious they are waiting for that 1 must have title similar to what resident evil 4 was for the gamecube here in usa. Blue Dragon and Lost Odyssey for the 360 are among the most anticipated games in japan according to famitsu voters. Blue Dragon #8 last I checked up on it.

If that game doesn't get it done the 360 will never succeed in japan, but I get the feeling after E3 360 sales will spike in japan. Something tells me the unannounced Tri-Ace RPG published by Microsoft and Silikon Knights unannounced project with Sega (hopefully a 360 title) are going to be big in addition to whatever major announcements Microsoft held off on at that japan briefing it was so obvious they were withholding information.

Tekken could do well on 360. But, they would need to redo the character models and give them boob jobs. Thats what the DOA seems to be all about.

There are alot of japanese companies out there that are completely foolish in that they think a sony console alone can do it for them in europe and the usa. They completely ignored a userbase of 20 million+ people that would've bought their games. The way it works is this there are some titles that are big enough for people to go buy a console to play them (gta was such a title) games like tekken don't do it as much if they don't put the games on other consoles like the 360 people aren't going to waste their time to buy a ps3 for something that isn't an absolute must get.

If even the mighty square enix had disappointing profits maybe its time most of the other developers (square included) wise up. Doesn't really matter to me though. We got things like Too Human, Mass Effect, Gears of War, Halo, Blue Dragon, Lost Odyssey, Lost planet, Elder Scrolls etc etc to keep us satisfied :)

But on a serious note even if games like these don't show up on the 360 You have to admit Optaviusx That people will probably adopt the 360 more in Japan if they did get games like Tekken. Because it goes to show that companies trust there best games on the system.

Xbox will never do well in Japan for the same reason that GM and Ford cant sell shit over there. People percieve xbox to be a POS. iPod on the other hand sells because of its marketing and the form factor appeals to them. This is why Wii is gonna sell more on launch day than 360 will in a year.

Yea I know what you mean Ric regarding a companies best games, but then again them announcing support for ps3 isn't really "news" I think at E3 we will see a couple surprises from some big name japanese developers.

RPG's are Japans bread and butter! Put a few girlie looking fags in spandex, and have them bend over and shoot fire and you have a winner on your hands. PS3 is rehashed IP's, I can bet that more than 80% of the games to be announce at E3 will be known franchises and or mech’s and RPG's. That's why I moved to the Xbox 360 I really needed something new.

Thats one thing I agree with the 360 is getting new top tier franchises , too human, mass effect, blue dragon, lost odyssey, gears of war, crackdown, Lost Planet etc.

If you want to talk about how Bill Gates sucks and couldn't acquire Tekken license for the 360, go do it in the forum. Im looking forward to RidgeRacer7 at 1080p and 60fps. I dont care if its a rehash of RidgeRacer 1-6 .. its an awsome series. I hope they include that mini-retro game in there too (the one on the psp).

As for Tekken 6. Im not a fighting game fanatic. Im still waiting for Street Fighter 4 with 2d fighting, but, 3d graphics (like GG-Ex). Come on Capcom, gimme ST4.

Itaintrite.. You're right this is good news for anybody who is looking forward to the PS3. Just for the record if the PS3 turns out to be good at the E3 show. I will be one of the many people to go and put a downpayment on the system and wait on line all those hours. The only reason I talked about Tekken for the 360 is because I am a big fan of the series and I also own a xbox360. But no doubt that games like this is very good news for Sony. Hope to see a good system war this year.

Ugh...just what we need, another Tekken rehash...God forbid they could make a decent version of soul calibur 3, then release it on all consoles like they did with soul calibur 2...which was much better IMO.

in my opinion, tekken is not a system seller. great franchise, don't get me wrong, but its not the type of game to make people go out and spend $400+ on a new system. if it is a launch title, i may pick a copy up when i get my ps3 but it really depends on what else is released.
