	Pandemic Studios has announced a sequel to the very popular Mercenaries shooter. Mercenaries 2: World In Flames will be released on the Playstation 3. No further details were revealed at this point, but Pandemic promises to reveal the entire game next week at E3. >Link

That game was awesome!

You tend to forget about titles like this,but with e3 around the corner,they all show up out of nothing,i like it!

Ohhhhh pretty dirty of ign... completely forget to mention that the game is ALSO coming to the 360? Good god pay attention to ign during E3 everybody wanna bet the 360 gets trashed and many things

in regards to the ps3 that may be negative the gets suspeciously left out or other aspects exaggerated to make it seem like a totally superior experience :)

ign is usually pretty good with being unbiased IMO, much better then how they used to be at least.

its 1up.com that gets me sick to my stomach with being biased. its no surprise that they are one in the same with EGM, the poorest excuse for a gaming mag and one who doesnt try to hide their biased attitudes.

It is I checked the official press release. The problem that makes me cautious regarding ign now is because they are now a sony partner. On sony's tools and middleware slide at GDC ign was on it they have a new partnership with sony to help establish their xbox live clone and since then I've noticed some very subtle, but impactful things that ign has done that can easily fool people into seeing the 360 as completely inferior.

You know who is the one unbias person on ign that I could vouch for? Douglas Perry he tells it like it is him and this other guy that runs the revolution (wii) part of the site.

Well it wouldn't bother me if the 360 gets this game or not. There are alot of good quality titles coming out for the 360 that to cry about this one wouldn't make sense. Worry about the system if we don't get games like Knights Of The Old Republic or Jade Empire.

I don't think they mentioned any platform in the press release.

The press release states "next-gen consoles" and nothing more. Please fix the news. Gosh, this is the second bloody time this has happened now. IGN officially sucks.

Yea the press release clearly stated next gen consoles and somehow ign puts a spin on it to make people suspect it might be ps3 only (and the news of the game is only in the ps3 section) oh well there are alot of great titles coming to the 360, but this is one game I really want and alot of other people really want so much that they'd overlook a 360 just because it wasn't on it. I'm not one of those crazy people, but they are out there :)

I see something brewing here. Just because IGN didn't put all the info means that they are bias? I don't buy into that. If they forgot so what. Does that mean the game won't come out for the 360 now? No it doesn't mean that. Yes I know alot of people want this game, but I know ONE PERSON who wants every single game mentioned for the 360, it's kind of childish if you think. I don't know who is more bias, that person or IGN. The last time I looked the topic on top was about the PS3 not the 360. Sometimes we need to let go for awhile and relax on the defense. Not everybody is Bill Gates.

Thats exactly the point Rich they ALWAYS forget and somehow always by "coincidence" leave out the 360 in certain news.

Like developers actually saying up front on ign forums that ign wildly exaggerated some of the ps3 gdc footage especially heavenly sword and they knew that ratchet and clank was cg yet failed to mantion it, but when Microsoft showed footage of some of their games at the japan press conference IGN said were quick to say, but we are sure it was 100% cg. (Why do they fail to mention that what was shown of motorstorm wasn't even gameplay)

My personal favorite saying what was shown of heavenly sword looked exactly like the E3 footage (lie)

Hell even a playstation site themselves said heavenly sword looked terrible (referred to the player models as embarassing) and nothing close to what was shown at E3. Warhawk was the only decent looking thing there according to them, but not mindblowing. What was shown of lair was realtime, but it was a realtime TECH demo (aka ati ruby) Lets be real here none of what sony showed at gdc looked as good as the E3 footage. Sony only showed warhawk playable (motorstorm wasn't being constrolled at all) yet ign makes it sound like everything was actual ingame gameplay. Like I said pay attention at E3 even when its cg or a tech demo or not impressive at all ign will exaggerate it and tear the 360 apart.

Optaviusx.. If IGN is Bias so what. I feel that people on this forum is smart enough to see that. The same way IGN acts towards the 360 you do against anything or anyone who don't acknowledge the 360. It's still being bias against any news said. Now I know you may think it's not like that but you should ask around. You are a DIEHARD 360 fan which thats not bad but not everything mentioned on this site is about the 360. There are alot of good sites out there that Sony don't have in its pockets and also the same could be said for MS. So no matter what the truth is, sooner or later it will come out. Look your a nice guy but I don't need to be fed xbox360 for every topic that this forum has. You ask people to look at TechTV and last year they were pro Sony. Lets all look at Techtv to see if this year will be any different but for me its all entertainment and that's it.

Look optaviusx like I said before you are a good guy. So don't change for anything but I hope you understand that once in awhile negativity will come from it.

I think everyone needs to stop whining so much. You all wants some French cries? Damn! I've never seen so many people mad about the performance, or lack there of, of a system before in all my life.

The PS3... it's lookin' bleak. It's looking like it's gonna be under powered. Deal with it... They came out a year after Dreamcast and still struggled to maintain solid graphics in their games for about a year and a half... Well, at least until J&D, MGS,FFX and Devil May Cry came out.

Ps3 will be no different... It's gonna pale in comparison to what we've been shown and it'll probably look worse than xbox 360 for awhile.

We don't need to cry about it... It's no big deal. Ps3 sucks, so what?
