It would be cool I think. Lots of stuff it sounds like they have planned for the remote, but I want to see how easy and effectively it will work. :(

If only the remote has force feedback. Then it'll really feel like a light saber.

Wow, The G, that is the most stupid comment I've ever read. Everyone that has played Wii have said that it's really, really fun. I guess pressing a button is so much more cool & fun than actually making the moves yourself, huh.

anyone who relegates the Wii to a gimick is only fooling themselves. I'd venture to say that all of them already hated Nintendo for some reason and can't bring themselves to admit that the company might actually be on to something.

Well I cant be bothered to go into advance details of why people supporting the wii is foolish, but i think you lot should read this.

After reading the blog that G recommended, I still stand by my belief that Nintendo will be successful this generation. Will they "win" the "war"? I don't know and I don't care. The simple fact is they have garnered much more third party interest and support for the Wii than the Gamcube or N64 had. The Wiimote is not a gimmick, and every professional that has touched it has said the same thing. All of this adds up to something good for those of us looking forward to purchasing the revolutionary system.

Any starwars fan hardcore or not, will tell you that they have imagined to become a jedi. Given the fact the nintendo as introduce the controller to the world it allows players to become one, besides if it were a gimmick than why did sony build their controller with a so called tilt function? some STUPID people like G don't realize the potential the revolution has on the gaming world especially FPS. Next time slowed down your comments on something great because the one's who start to complain usually have something stuck in their A**

I agree with you, teddy. The Wii has strong potential to be a great system. However, calling a respected member of this website stupid is not necessary. G is entitled to his opinion just like you and I. Not everyone likes the idea of playing games like the Wii requires, and that is fine. They have their systems to choose between for traditional game play.
