This is why we got a Lengthy GT4 appearence at Sony E3 conference....GT4 w/ Online is still due to release,

Polyphony where never sure about online play for GT4. Due to the Urgent request of fans of the GT series, who want GT4 to have online play. This has become important for Pholyphony to implement this. Down to the sheer request of this feature. This may be seen as chance for a quick buck maybe, but PS3 coming is not coming anytime soon and who knows how well the Online platform will be like (free or not free). GT4 has been out for a while, and Online Gran Turismo for PS2 would be an opportunity not be to missed.

All is well now, this is a big step for the series and a very first so the fans and devs are not gona forget about it yet for the PS2.

So go figure...call it advertising exisiting franshises....they can't just ignore this big step for the GT series ..now for the very first time with GT4 with Online Play on the PS2. Let the battles begin.

Yeah neat online play added and the game has been out for a longtime. No reason to pick this up. If you want online SIM racing go get Forza for the Xbox.
