Once I heard Sega is not going online with VF5 I lost all interest in the game. If the development team had any talent they'd make it work.

By the looks of those screenshots these dev's have a lot of talent. Those look amazing! WOW! Easily eclipsing anything I've seen on xbox 360, with "maybe" the exception of PGR3... & that's a Maybe.

Mr know it all you've got to be joking me. Dead or Alive 4 in my opinion looks better than VF5. Online Play is a must for a fighting game nowadays talk about killing the potential of a game like this. Online VF5 would be a very big deal.

VF5 does not look better than Ghost Recon, does not look better than rainbow six, does not look better than Gears of War, does not look better than Lost Planet, does not look better than mass effect, does not look better than blue dragon, the list goes on please don't say nonsense like easily eclipsing anything you've seen on the 360.. More like Lost Planet by itself easily eclipsing every actual game shown for the ps3 at E3. I don't mean to insult the ps3, but you are asking for it with such a comment in regards to the 360.

Complaining about VF5 not having online play just shows how you know absolutely nothing about the series.

And talking about graphics, VF5 IS the best looking beat'em up yet. The version at E3 was the arcade version. Compare it to other beat'em ups please. Not games like GOW, PGR3 or whatever... It dpesn't make any sense do do it to begin with...

Hello. I'll admit the game will look good on the PS3, but if this game was redesigned for the x360 from the ground up, it'll look just as good or better than the PS3 version. The graphic ability of both consoles are really on par with each other. Even Sega said that the game will look the same if they deveoloped it from scratch for the x360.

I am new to this site, and looks like to me we have the wrong gamers on this post. Xbox 360 is at the very top on your left for Xbox 360 fans.All i read is hate mail for the PS3 this game looks good for what it is VF5.And DOA looks good to, but be for real it looks like a step up from the Xbox 1 DOA.

At this stage VF 5 looks decent I think that Sega is not utilizing the power of Playstation 3 as it should have been. This is the first attempt by Sega on the next gen Playstation 3 & we should not forget that Sega is developing according to the Cell Processors so first attempt will be a bit tough, but I presume that second time it will be perfect, not only Sega but all other Developers who are working on Playstation 3 Titles first attempt will be a bit rough for them.

VF 5 looks better than 97% of the games out there right now. Most 1st gen Ps3 games do. That's the best part about it. Just think, in 4 years, when xbox 360 fizzles out (just like xbox did before it) Ps3 (much like Ps2 before it) will still be going strong.

With

A - kick ass games.

B - Graphics that seem to get better and better.

C - A lower price than the new xbox 490 that comes out to compete with it.

D -And we won't have to throw all of our old stuff aside and buy new stuff from the ground up.

Well success of the console consists of third party support that is for sure even Playstation 3 has not been launched. But again I speculate that on its initial stages Playstation 3 might face some ups and downs when it will be launched. The only bone of contention is its Blue-Ray format & Cell. But these are my predictions it might catch its first place once again. Let it arrive time will tell.

This game does look pretty damn good. Far from the best game I've ever seen, but it doesn't look bad by any means. I really do wish it had online play since I'm in the military and would love to kick my brother's ass from around the world. I guess we'll have to stick with DoA 4 for that. Oh yeah, you fanboys make me fucking puke. Play games, not systems. All 3 next gen systems are going to have some insane exclusive games, so why limit yourself to just one. If you can't afford all 3, buy the one that has the most games you enjoy, than get the others after a few price drops. I don't really see any difference at all between the 360 and PS3 games, and I don't care if I ever do. As long as they both have kick ass games, I'm happy.

If you are a true fighting game fan then it's more about gameplay then graphics period.

I think you are not thinking of the fan base ps2 stablished around the world...stop and think for one moment. It will sell like bread, even at the 600$ price, if not, people will stay with the ps2 and wait for price drops.

PD: Virtua Fighter looks kick ass, and from what ive been informed, it plays like hell!

Pay attention to everything Sony does with the PS3, they are giving lessons on what not to do when you release a console.
