2006/08/02 6:07:23: Posted by vividbreeze
Street Fighter II Hyper Fighting goes online for the greatest Street Fighter experience to date. In addition to several offline modes and numerous leaderboards and achievements, the game takes advantage of the new online features of the Xbox 360 to create a seamless online multiplayer experience. SF:II will cost you 800 points, expensive, but as per usual there is a trial of the game you can check out first!

Remember, if you do not want to use the Xbox360 pad for this game, you can always build your own Xbox360 arcade stick using the tutorial at the link!

Way to go Capcom. You spent 5 extra months in development to work out the lag on xbox live and you couldn't even fix the problem. I am hugely disappointed with the online play to say the least ...

800 MP = $10 = 40 quarters

Sounds like a good deal, but I'm waiting to hear some feedback from friends first

I played two matches. The first was laggy. The second, smooth-as-silk perfect...just like the arcade.

Honestly, if you have problems with lag, it might be your connection. I'll have to play more to see how well they got it.

Edge that's good news. I only played 2 matches before I went to work so I don't have much to compare it to. I'm going to rock it tonight w/my joystick though when I get off of work :)

Well, I'm not liking this game much now. I just can't figure out the rhythm. I'm questioning my suitability to be a gamer. It's too damn hard, even on the easiest difficulty level.

Microsoft needs to release an inexpensive Wireless Joystick similar to the Joystick that Sega released for the Sega Saturn; that was the king of Arcade Joysticks. You could play Street Fighter, Dead or Alive, Virtua Fighter, and any other Capcom or SNK 2D fighter perfectly with it.

I agree with Purbeast on the network thing, even MAME kaillera is more tuned than whatever crap this has, plus i have my SF aniversary with sf2 characters so i really wonder wtf did it take capcom this long with the bullshit
