Peter Moore made a very interesting speech at teh Ziff Davis Electronic Games Conference. He details what he called "The Elite 8," eight ways for video game makers to make video games a much bigger industry than it currently is. He actually makes some decent points, check it out.

Agree bigtime with #3

#8 100% true some serious games need to start showing up on the pc and not fps or world of warcraft type games either. Then again... most people pirate pc games so there is like no point.

#7 100% true, but ultimately a shot at sony.

I think we'll see a lot of ports between PC & 360 once XNA tools, DX10 and vista are in full swing.

Yea depheCt thats true, but on the pc its like so common that I think people are sometimes surprised when they see pc games in a store.

Elder Scrolls Oblivion when it released sold 1.7 million units right off the bat. 1.5 million of those belonged to the 360 only 200,000 pc gamers worldwide were interested in this game? Majority of them just downloaded and installed the damn thing which is an absolute joke. With developers enforcing a lot of vista only games people will have to end up purchasing one or the other because I believe vista will be much more complicated to pirate.

The good thing about those ports later is they'll be new titles not developers bringing their old crap to the console.

I wish Peter Moore knew how to get Square Enix to develop NEW Dragon Quest and Final Fantasy games for the Xbox 360. I also wish that Peter Moore knew how to get Sega--his former company--to develop Virtua Fighter for the Xbox 360.

I also wish that Peter Moore knew how to get Namco to develop Tekken and Soul Caliber for the Xbox 360. And I wish that Peter Moore knew how to get Konami to develop Metal Gear Solid 4 for the Xbox 360. And Peter Moore, lets make sure that Devil May Cry 4 from Capcom and Silent Hill 5 are released for the Xbox 360.

I agree with all the 8 points...SPECIALY THE NUNBER 7 $$$$$$$

" TREAT windowns like a gamminga platform"...

Please why waste millions in a production of a game( PC only) IF the majority of people will download the game.

the only way is Microsoft enhance the Vista protection anti-copy.
