According to CVG, in a recent interview with Nintendo Dream magazine, the legendary Shigeru Miyamoto has explained that the control system for The Legend Of Zelda: Twilight Princess has been totally revamped and tweaked. He also revealed that Nintendo is considering remaking some of the best Gamecube games for the Wii. Great news!

Wow, who cares!Since we have no idea how the controls felt before why does this matter to us now? ;p

well i care, before only the first person aiming system was different, but with the new controls the whole combat system has been redone so swinging the wiimote will swing the sword, plus using arrows is bound to be easier when using a trigger than using the d-pad on top of the controller

Why couldn't they just release a patch you could download to get older GameCube titles work with the Wii-mote. I don't think any GameCube game is worth buying AGAIN just to get to play it with Wii-mote. Why not just consentrate on doing NEW games that FULLY take advantage of the new controller. Not some half-assed ports that absolutely nobody wants to play.

Yup, that is what Nintendo does. Make new games...no...resell you the same game you've bought several times before...yes.

Well...since nobody has purchased Twilight Princess yet...its kind of hard to "buy again." When this game is released, Wii owners will have a choice to purchase either the Wii version or the GCN version...nobody is forcing you to buy both.

nock they are referring to this part of the article: "He also revealed that Nintendo is considering remaking some of the best Gamecube games for the Wii. Great news!"I agree, who wants to play old GC games that you've played 100 times before with a new controller?... I want to play NEW games wth the NEW controller, not old rehashed ones.

yeah...thats my fault for not reading the article first. My apologies there.

Walkin, Nintendo hardly does that. With some games (mainly Mario Party, and even that isn't actually developed by Nintendo), yes, but the main games have had enough new things to keep players interested. THIS, on the other hand, would be just lazy from Nintendo. Having spent well over 500 euros to GameCube games, I don't want to use any more to have upgraded versions of them.

At least we're guaranteed another Mario Kart title.
