Sega announced at this years Games Convention in germany their plans on releasing Virtua Tennis 3 on Xbox360, PS3 and PSP. You can finally now also play more then one Set! We've added 5 new screenies for your pleasure, read on to see what Sega had to say.
Here's a quick resume on what Sega had to say about Virtual Tennis 3:- 5 Sets are now playable due to demand from the Fans.- Many known tennis-stars will be in the game such as: Amelie Mauresmo, Maria Sharapova, Venus Williams, Martina Hingis, Nicole Vaidisova, Lindsay Davenport, Daniela Hantuchova, Roger Federer, Andy Roddick, Lleyton Hewitt, Tim Henman, James Blake, Mario Ancic, Gael Monfils, Taylor Dent, David Nalbandian, Sebastien Grosjean, Juan Carlos Ferrero and Tommy Haas.- You can create your own tennis player and refine him/her in the "World Tour" Mode, in which you will fly from tourney to tourney. On your way to the top of the rankings you will have 10 mini-games to prepare/train your character.- "Court Games" Mode has been added, it's said to be a mixture from various mini-games in the usual Virtua Tennis universe and a new Idea - Sega said they will unveil more about this mode in the near future.For all those reading from the Games Convention, if you want to try Virtua Tennis 3, you can do so on Sega's Place (Hall 5, F11) (Xbox360) or in the Buisness Center where you can try out Playstation 3 and Xbox360 versions. The PSP version is sadly nowhere to be seen. |

FINALLY, why were there no sets before? lol @ gamersreports, thanks for pointing that out for me. I enjoy most VT games a bit, im hoping this gives me more joy.

Yea, the omission of sets was weird. The mini-games were especialy cool (and fun). Does anyone else think that the character models fall into the Uncanny Valley for creepiness?
