	As we told you folks, Toys R Us is starting to take PS3 & Wii pre-orders starting on Sunday Morning. Well, the lines have already begun to form, if you can believe it. The Wii should be not that big of an issue, but folks, let us here at GR make this abostluely clear. Most Toys R Us stores are getting somehwere in the neighborhood of only 5 TO 10 units! One Toys R Us around here is getting only 5 premium units and 1 core. So go now if you really want a PS3 folks, it is going to be an absolute nightmare. >Link

lol thats pretty insane .. ill take my chances on getting a wii at launch.

thank god i got my preorder at ebgames..now i dont know if i should sell it on ebay...i want to play R:FOM right out of the box on the 17th but i want the money too

I was unlucky to get a preorder from ebgames, right now its no big deal with ps3, though wii looks more interesting, i'll hold off for at least a month till it gets better and more systems are availible, i Can't forget how i waited for almost 7 hours to buy the 360 at Compusa and seeing how dissapointed i was with it until a few months (or almost a year..), so thats how the same concept will be with the ps3, though maybe not wii, but i sure hell won't get it. Not now at least

DUDE I H8 TO BURST UR bubble but we really do not think it is going to get any better until well into 2007 because remember, after the USA X-Mas, all units will likely be diverted to europ for their launch, and Japan to fill the new SONY IOU vouchers they are selling in place of the ps3!

I don't believe that, it didn't for 360 last year (plenty of them to buy after at least a month from launch) then i don't see any possibility with this, probably sold out at some places but not all, its not difficult to get one at retail price, so i believe that same concept is for the newer consoles, especially wii since nintendo is producing a whole lot more

i dunno man around here there was not even 1 xbox360 unit to spare, not even for the people who needed repairs or replacement units until well into March of this year. The PS3 will be available in even less quantities than the xbox360 ever was by about half.

and i wonder how many ps3's will need repairs probaly half of them with that fiddily cell, i heard it overheats even with its magical cooling system.
