XNA Express Will Start YouTube For Games >

Just the other day Microsoft has released the final version of their Xbox360 home development software, the XNA Kit. Their vision really is taking that YouTube concept and bringing it into games. Think about a Community Arcade, being able to share your own games with the whole community on Xbox Live, Satchel said.

This already exists today, they're called Flash games. There are tons of websites that allow you to play indie-games for free.

Wow, why does everyone think xbox live arcade is so great, a lot of the games are just flash games that you can get for free on websites. On Wii, you can go on the web broswer and play those, plus the original console games which are awesome (no they should'nt be changed and add co-op online, leaderboard junk.. I want the game as I remembered it)

yeah , and i got most of the n64 and nes games on my pc for free , thanks to the emulator project64.

I can even put the resolution to 1280x1024 at 60hz , with 6xanti-liasing ,16xanisotropic filtering.

does the wii ofer me this?

I like the Wii so don't shit on it too bad. I think it's great for it to offer people who want to play the games on their TV. As well as legally right?

You're right about XBLA in that there are some games that are pretty much flash games you could probably play for free on websites, but on XBLA there are some gems of games that you can only play on Xbox. Plus again I can play on my TV, Its convenient.
