Ubisoft sends along some screens of the XBox version of Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter, and if they are to be believed, the game is going to be one of the best looking games on the aging console. Ghost Recon 2 looked great as well, although the framerate suffered badly at times. Let's hope this GR is not plagued by the same issue. Click on the news title for the screens.

Xbox 360 Sells Allocation in Japan December 10th, 2005 Seems the Xbox 360 has done better than expected in Japan, with its launch just today (December 10th). While we have no figures it seems that the Xbox 360 has sold all of its allocation within half an hour. Even without Dead or Alive or any RPG’s at launch, the Xbox 360 has still managed to sell out and maybe Microsoft where realistic when saying they wish to sell a million consoles. Peter Moore, Microsoft vice president of worldwide marketing and publishing, was optimistic:“History tells us that no great empire lasts forever. In the case of the Sony PlayStation, obviously it has been a great empire. But when a superior culture comes along, typically, it means the end of that empire. We believe that the superior culture is the Xbox 360 games experience, particularly the Xbox Live experience, which will bring communities from around the world together through gaming.”
