According to an interview on CVG, Nintendo will allow original content to grace the Wii store channel. This is a smart move, sometimes a blast from the past is just not enough!Nintendo has developed a programming system that will allow small independent developers to make games for Wii download service. We cannot confirm at this time in what format the new content will be delivered, but in the future there will be original games available for download through the Wii Shop.

this would be a good move, just as long as we don't start seeing more old midway and atari games popping up for sale. I've seen about 10 different places and platforms you can play pacman on at this stage. It is a good game but jeez
