According to Gamedrift, Nintendo has finally officially announced new colors of the Wii console. Apparently, an anonymous Nintendo rep revealed to Gamedirft that the plans are in the pipeline to colorize the console. No release date or price specifics were given, and anonymous source means rumor tag for now. It certainly seems probable, though.

I have been waitng for the red Wii. It will suck if I have to wait till Christmas for it. I figured it would release this summer.
