Gamespot has a new interview posted with Mitch Gitelman, the studio manager of FASA Studios. FASA, as you know, is the team behind the brand new Shadowrun game, the first game set in the SR universe in a very long time. The article covers, among other things, the Magical Races, Abilities, and Technology from the game. Check it out.

Shadowrun is another one that received a lot of attention at the 2006 E3, all because it did so many new things that had never been done before. This is a good one that will please a lot of the Shadowrun fans, because we finally have a system that is capable of making a great Shadowrun game!

This game will not please any Shadowrun fans. For a game to be true to Shadowrun it would need to be like Oblivion or Mass Effect or possibly an MMO, though I don't actually like MMO's.That being said, if done well, this game could be a good expression of one extremely small part of a Shadowrun game. And could act as a springboard towards something better. Finally, I think this game looks like a fun shooter, but they could have made the exact same game without using the Shadowrun IP. Which hardly makes it a Shadowrun game.
