IMHO i see LIVE and Home kinda being entirely different and not even in direct competition for the most part. it's a great improvement for ps3 but it doesnt "own" anything

RFoM's performance online has nothing to do with the network and you really shouldnt expect it to be the norm. the same CAN happen on the 360/LIVE and it would require the same done on the ps3 (similar to how black hawk down was on xbox1) which means specialized servers to handle that load.

as for the whole "free" deal that people love to hang on, let it go already. is $4 a month really so much that it's worth mentioning? there is benefits for free and paid, you dont see me stating all of the set-backs of a free network everytime the two networks are discussed do you?

Free is free. With cost being brought up as an issue in so many other arguments (I've had xbl for four years @ 50$ a year = $200.00)there is nothing wrong with bringing it up here. The fact that HOME is being undertaken as a free service by Sony considering what the PS3 is costing them should be applauded. I mean, if they were to announce that it would cost, say $50 a month, can you imagine the backlash then?

I bet anything Sony will start charging for certain features online in the near future. As soon as they build a user base they will find a way to charge, Just wait and see i guarantee it.Sony reminds me of EA in so many ways.

The good thing about my opinion Itaintrite is that you don't have to like it. Don't get me wrong, I like some of the features the PS3 offer. I WILL buy one once I'm AWed buy its games, so far the game with the red hair girl is pretty tempting witht its cinematic style but I'm waiting to see what Too Human has to offer.

You all are lame. Everyone of you know that Home is a very great thing that Sony is doing. For once, everyone quit your bitching about TEH 360 IZ L33TZORS or TEH PS3 IZ L33TZ0RS.

Everyone that comments at this site and every other site on the net has constantly complained that Sony doesnt know how to do online or Sony never cares about communication in online gaming or that PSN will always suck no matter what they do. And once Sony actually releases something cool and possibly the next big thing for online gaming, people STILL SHOOT IT DOWN and say it sucks. Its hard for me to say it sucks, because its far from it. I mean come on, we all its the fuckin Mii's and Achievements that we all know and love, put together in one big ass 3D world where you can communicate with people and play video games with them or even chat with them like in the real world. Sony finally got it when it comes to their online philosophy and how they are willing to spread that philosophy, something that everyone on the internet was hoping for since before the PS3 launch.

As for what makes the PS3 worth $600? LittleBigPlanet and any other game thats going to follow what LittleBigPlanet is doing. Thats my answer 8)

One thing i forgot to mention about Home is some possible negatives. In Home you can communicate with people, play a game together, and all of this great stuff. Probably the biggest question that everyone should wonder about is how all of this could be translated into the in-game OS as well. Does this service means that we can have a background OS similar to the Dashboard in 360 games? Can we invite people to a game, send messages, voice chat with someone just like XBL during single player or multi-player gameplay? IF the answer is yes, then thats perfect. Otherwise, they still need to work on the gameplay part of its online service.

I just watched a few videos of this title and while I have to admit that the PS3 has not yet raised my interest, this game now surely did!

It looks fun in a very simple yet so complex way. It's artistic feel to it is very nice and heck, i want to play it :D It's like loco roco evolved :D

Oh and for those arguing, if you think 4$ a month isn't alot, i will give you my bank account and want everyone here claiming "its no big deal" to do it.

I'll be damn rich if 1000 ppl do this on a monthly basis :)
