	Koei's new Gundam title, Gundam Musou, is selling extremely well in Japan. It is selling so well, in fact, that it is only the second game from the PS3's Japanese lineup to reach the top 50 in the game sales charts. The game, so far, has sold over 170,000 copies. More importantly, let's hope it's not garbage like the 1st PS3 Gundam title. I don't get the fascination with Mech games, but there is a market for it I guess.

If you like dynasty warriors you will probably like this.

They need a redesign for the next dynasty warriors.

How in the heck does a game like Gundam Musou end up outselling Virtua Fighter 5 by such a huge margin! When VF5 launched in Japan, it only sold 49,000 during the time it took this game to triple that amount!

I guess this just goes to show there is a huge example between the Japanese culture and our culture. I will never forget the way the other Gundam game was rated scores like 2 and 3 on a scale of 1-10, and given scores of 1 on a scale of 1-5 (1 being the worst). Yet, the Japanese rated that game scores of 8 and 8.5 in Famitsu magazine.

I lost a lot of respect for Famitsu after that, and I think they may have actually hurt the Playstation 3 launch because people were led to believe that would be a good game, and then when they bought it, they were like, "This Gundam game is terrible!" Although, the Japanese PS3 only launched with six games, and two of them were Mahjong ones--which isn't a good thing...unless you like Majong--A LOT!!!

So you are saying that the Original Gundam that came out did high ratings and sold like hotcakes when in reality it sold like shit and everyone in japan knows it?

Lost respect? YOu seem to keep it when they rated Gears of War, unless there's another dipshit called UTP

At the launch of the PS3 in Japan, Gundam was one of the top three selling games.

And that ISN'T a good thing.

Have you played the new Gundam game yet? If not, I rest my case.

It urks me that Japanese ppl hated on N3 for 360 while Gundam musou is the same type of game that sells over 100,000 copies in like 2 weeks.

If game is good it's good I plan on getting Musou for the fact like these type of games
