Remember way back when we first broke the story that the Xbox360 was coming out with a control pad that had a keyboard included (check the link for the original news, which we broke here at GR)? Well, the pad is now officially announced and on the way. You can see the pad in all its sexiness at the image links below. (Thanks, Faceless)

19 99 -29 99 would be perfect... i cannot wait

perfect for the new chat feature with the update.I'll stick with the my keyboard.

that's pretty sexy for a tiny keyboard. I might pick one up if its $20-25

I looks sexy, but why a keyboard, did the wireless headset flop or something. wouldn't sound be better which they already have, is this generation basing itself around text messages. Same thing with the Cellphones. I hate it when people text me instead of calling.

What does a keyboard have to do with the wireless headset? This is not a controller but an addon. and will be good since Live will link with Messenger.

It's designed for when MSN links with Xbox Live. There's no point having MSN live chat if you have to use the silly onscreen keyboard or you can only use voice chat which not many people really use on MSN.

i like it!

Nice!!!!!

Looks good but you know it will cost you at least 75 dollars. Hell the reg wireless controllers are a steep 50 bucks. I still like it.

Wow!I think this is made for two reasons:1. To take advantage of the way the new Spring Update will let Xbox Live communicate with Windows Live.2. Because the rumors of Warcraft coming to the Xbox 360 are true.

Like it was said above, this is an ADDON. It pops into the headset port of a standard controller.

its definitely cool, i'll only get one though and i think its better than using a huge keyboard to type. its kinda like the sidekick keyboard. hopefully if it is an add on, it doesn't cost too much, 15-20 bucks
Written by Deihmos on 2007/04/08
I don't see this costing more than $20.00 or less. You can bye a full feature Microsoft digital pro keyboard for less than $25.00. Keyboards are not expensive at all.

since when did the jaguar come out with a white control? hahaha
Written by headblackman on 2007/04/08
im an xbox360 fan but i really think that this design really sux :/ it looks too much like the jaguar controler now. all we needed was a real keyboard and mouse for the system and that was it. im sure thats not too hard to do :/ or make it so that you can connect any usb keyboard and mose up to the system for game and typing puposes.

i get what you guys are saying, but i don't play my 360 on a desk so finding a nice flat spot for the keyboard would be hard and i wouldn't want to rest it on my legs. i think its perfect i don't care what it resembles
Written by mr new york on 2007/04/08
Personally, I'd love for the mini-keyboard to become a standard part of the controller instead of just an add-on - that way, developers could design games around it. Even something as simple as using it for fast weapons switching in an FPS would be awesome. Unfortunately, I doubt that'll happen.

great addition, but not for me, ill stick with what they have currently
Written by Smarty Pantz on 2007/04/09
Im pretty quick with my blackberry. Its great for emails.. but, i couldnt imagine having an im chat with it for any length of time.

I'll buy it as long as it's not to heavy or has a awkward feel to it. Has the potential to make MMO's and RTS a lot easier to design and play.

THIS CONTROLLER LOOKS HORRIBLE!!!!!!!microsoft dont know how to desings beatifull things like the ps3.
Written by jb33 on 2007/04/09
@Tecno_Geek) I totally disagree, I think the design looks perfect as long as it don't feel weird when you hold it. You must be a Sony fanboy, thats all... I can smell the jealousy from here.
Written by otoole on 2007/04/09
it looks pretty slick to me...
Written by Eamo on 2007/04/11
It looks fairly useful, the keys are nicely spaced out etc. I'd still rather use a regular PC keyboard myself though, it'd be too awkward to type at a decent speed with that
Written by daveydz3 on 2007/04/13
much faster speed than the stick or control pad you would agree? i'm used to text messaging so i'd be pretty good with it. t9 would be cool to use on this as well.
Written by jockss2 on 2007/04/16
i dont know how a controller with a keyboard can look sexy..but id like to see how it works anyways... DM loves the 360 btw..hates the ps3..just an observation
