talking with friends who have been partaking in the beta run, i have to admit that this may be a sleeper hit (if not a full fledged one). i did nothing but rip on this game (like crackdown) from the moment i first saw it. turns out the game is a lot more fun then it looks so i guess i'll keep an open mind about it.......for the moment >=)

The game doesn't appeal to light FPS gamers like me. I just want the Forza demo.

Nice... May and June might break a game spending record for me. So far, I have preordered ME, Forza, and C&C. A shadowrun demo would help me know if I should wait or buy on release day.

i know forza, ME, and BD are sold in my book and that's still the spring/beginning summer season.

Shadowrun is the first of it's kind, it combines FPS and the magic you would use in a RPG. When i first seen the game i thought it would be horrible but, now i think Shadowrun will be HUGE online. It looks like it plays allot like Halo 2 and thats not a bad thing. I've seen many gameplay videos of people flying and pulling them selfs though walls, it sounds stupid but it looks like it's very well done. Hopefully the magic isn't hard to get used to and the weapons are pretty balanced. I think Shadowrun is gonna attract hardcore RPG players and allot of FPS fans on both PC and 360.(This has never been done before) The boards on Shadowrun look perfectly scaled for it's type of gameplay and character size. Weather i will like it or not is gonna come down to how complicated the magic system is and how well the weapons are balanced.

Forza looks great in those screen shots. I think the demo is coming out this month so don't have to wait for long.

Crackdown is one of my favorite games of all time. Crackdown received very high reviews, and the only people rated it a little bit lower listed specific things they didn't like about it; for example, the way bosses are killed and then enemies are no longer available to fight with in those parts of the city. Thankfully, the download patch for Crackdown completely listened to what people said, and now the enemy street-thugs are available to fight with, even after you kill the bosses! This does in fact add replay value to Crackdown!

As far as Shadowrun goes, I think it will be amazing the way it works with PC games. I think this will probably be a big-hit game, because it has received a lot of sales. I don't know if Shadowrun will be a best-seller like Gears of War or the upcoming Mass Effect, because those games have receive a TON of hype and awards at the 2006 E3. But, let's not forget that Shadowrun also received a lot of hype at the 2006 E3.
