IGN has the lowdown on the new SOE title that is slated for both PC and PS3, called The Agency. This game, which was revealed to us also at the recent Sony GamersDay, looks like it may be the PS3's first bonafide big hit. The game allows players to choose sides in an espionage war. The game plays in a somewhat similar fashion to Crackdown, except the play is all online-based (thus the reason that SOE is in charge of the game). The game may even feature cross platform PC/PS3 play. The game will play in the first person shooter perspective, but as is the recent trend, certain weapons and activities will jump out to third person perspective. This is truly going to be one of the games to own for 2008 folks, more info when we are allowed to release it!
