	Sony has announced a huge increase in Blu-Ray sales in Europe. This is due, of course, to the release of the Playstation 3. More than 180,000 films have now apparently been sold for viewing with the PS3. Sony's plan seeems to be working, for now. >Link

Itainrite: Say what U want about the HD-DVD add on. Doent matter to me I wont buy it. I am going to "Wait Beyond" to see what the high def DVD standard format becomes... This whole article has nothing to do with videogames sales, so its a waste of all our time. U can feel free to comment on a 360 story anyday. Its a free world...

I actually think this is a bad statistic. Do you really think those that are buying the ps3 are doing so exclusively for bluray? I doubt it ... they are most likely sony fans who would have bought one bluray or not.

Blu-ray = VHS quality. HD DVD is easily the best, especially when you use the add on for your 360. Easily the best quality out there.

j'etre: haha hd dvd sucks compared to blu-ray and you know it with all your heart and cant admit it. hd-dvd has the worst quality ive ever seen.. it sucks

jockss2, I can only admit my desire to have the 360 be the only console on the market. When people like you realize that the 360 and all of it's related items are superior, you will find happiness. HD-DVD is outstanding. Blu-ray, or poo ray as we jokingly call it in the WGC (thanks to Unbiased) is trash.

jockss2 i have seen the utp guy rip on the j'tre guy a bunch of times. jetre really is a new breed of ps3 fanboy who is trash. jetre is like a ps3 roach that managed to live after the ps3 spaceship crashed. he just tries to imitate and make fun of those guys like pimpdady, b1ubrner, x360, utp, and others in the industry consortium he talks about. don't pay attention to him. he is probably the guy who posts all those sex things that get deleted in the forums.
