Graphically, it makes me embarassed to own Forza 2, but I'm just not sure it'll be as good, gameplay-wise.

The graphics looked amazing....They didn't show a whole lot of true over the car gameplay though. I remember how good Forza looked until they released real gameplay footage. If they can top Forza's car physics then it's a wrap. It's gonna be hard to do though.

Have you played GTHD?
Written by jb33 on 2007/07/11

Please don't tell me you think GTHD has better physics than Forza ? Or even anywhere close....LOL. NOTHING comes even close to touching Forza in terms of gameplay and car physics right now. I know you love the PS3 but, don't get crazy on me... GTHD is laughable compared to Forza 2. Prologue looks like it could be a different story though.

Well from what I've heard they're focusing the most on graphics. In fact the game won't even feature any sort of damage. Although to be honest, damage is more of nuisance online, since a lot of people have no idea how to overtake someone correctly.

jb33, GTHD is a demo, nothing more. A VERY VERY early demo. And the physics are already awesome.

Now, reread your comment, then read my question above. What do you think I meant by that?

I thought you were trying to say GTHD had better physics in a cocky way. My mistake....LOL. I do have GTHD and the graphics are great they just need to work on the car handling....BAD.

I'm sure they will nail it by the release of Prologue. I thought Sony was supposed to release some playable demos after their presentation ? All i see i videos right now.

Looks good.. but, not gonna get it. More of an arcadey racer type person.. may get WipeOutHD.. i sucked at MotorStorm!

Arcade racer type? Burnout ftw then.

Even though I won't even consider buying a PS3 right now, this makes me want it a little.

How come the graphics are still good in this game, when theres even multiple cars on screen? I mean I thought GTHD looked good because its all one car, but this is crazy. How does Polyphony do it?

what is so amazing about gthd? precalculated physics are so last generation especially when you consider the title is supposed to be a simulator, plus didnt the lead say that there would be o damage in this title
