I keep track of ALL the information spoken by the executives, to the best of my ability. Peter Moore NEVER said anything at all like that about Metal Gear Solid 4!

I was going to post that same information about how Peter Moore confirmed that Metal Gear Solid 4 could come to the Xbox 360 anytime Konami wanted to bring it to the Xbox 360. One thing I can say is that reliable sources have repeatedly said there is an EXCELLENT chance we will see Metal Gear Solid 4 on the Xbox 360 in time for Christmas 2008. One reliable source has made it clear that the instruction manuals for Metal Gear Solid 4 on the Xbox 360 have already been printed! That might mean the game is a "Timed-Exclusive Release" for the Playstation 3, but six months later the Xbox 360 will receive the game with extra online features, more missions, and better graphics, just like with Virtua Fighter 5.



We need to remember a several important factors:

1. Let's remember that when we saw ACTUAL "In-Game" gameplay of Metal Gear Solid 4 at the Tokyo Game Show, it really did have crappy graphics that were NOT impressive.

2. Let's remember that at this year’s E3, Konami spent FIVE MINUTES showing a Metal Gear Solid 4 demo that included NO ACTUAL GAMEPLAY!!!

3. At this year’s 2007 E3, Konami said, "The reason we are not showing 'Actual Gameplay' is because we 'don't have enough time.'" Yet, Konami had over FIVE MINUTES to show the demo.

4. Epic showed Gears of War PC being PLAYED ONLINE ON THE STAGE for an ENTIRE BOSS BATTLE, in less than THREE MINUTES!!!

5. OBVIOUSLY, Konami EASILY could have shown Metal Gear Solid 4 if they would have wanted to.

6. Development costs of Metal Gear Solid 4 are MUCH HIGHER than all of the previous Metal Gear games combined!!! And there are only 3.4 million PS3 systems sold worldwide so far, compared to 115 million PS2 systems. Even if MGS4 is the best-selling PS3 game, it still won’t make enough profit on the PS3 alone. The sales numbers and statistics don’t lie: Konami will need to release Metal Gear Solid 4 on the Xbox 360 and the PC.



7. Hideo Kojima of Konami had said the EXACT SAME THINGS about Metal Gear Solid 3 being the LAST GAME he would work on in the series. That ended up being a BOLD FACED LIE for marketing purposes, because we later found out that he started working on MGS4 before MGS3 had actually been released. It is almost certainly going to be the EXACT SAME THING with Metal Gear Solid 4. Even IGN has said they doubt MGS4 will be the last game in the series. You can also take a look at this website for proof of Hideo Kojima’s mood swings about whether or not a game is his “last one” in the series...it’s interesting how Hideo Kojima seems to decide it will be the “last one” he will work on, or “the last one” in the series during the times that would be best for marketing purposes…in other words, HE LIES: hxxp://games.kikizo.com/news/200411/056.asp



8. Based on the previous Tokyo Game Show, Konami better hope they did a LOT of improving to Metal Gear Solid 4, or else it will be an even bigger flop than Metal Gear Solid 3, which sold less than half the number of copies that Metal Gear Solid 2 did!

even if it was exclusive, peter moore would not say such thing like that, imagine, rumors are better, since it can scare ppl , so this has to be a dumbest rumors !!!

Yeah, the only value of this post on Gamers Reports is to show that you can't believe all rumors.

But, in all honesty, it isn't a "rumor" than Hideo Kojima has lied in the past about whether or not games are his "last ones in the series."
