	Apparently there is a glitch in this year's XBox360 version of Tiger Woods PGA Tour. The game locks up in the Henrietta Brockway event in the Tiger Challenge. The loading screen between the second and third holes makes Xbox360 units freeze up. TeamXbox has the workaround. Unfortunately, the word is that there have been at least two more freeze points found as well. Way to go, EA. (Thanks, Cunundrum) >Link

so people without XBL are screwed=no update? They should be eligible for a REFUND!

Why is their a need for an annual golf franchise at all?

no need at all...

Did someone actually buy this game???

i guess tiger bought a copy for him and a copy for each of his family members...

funny how at the end it says 'way to go EA'. if their testers were on top of it, it wouldnt have happened. just like the few minor glitches found on Madden 08 also. not sure if alot have probs in Madden 08, but i saw a funny rant on youtube about the 360 version =P

We need to remember a few important facts:

(1) BY FAR the MOST IMPORTANT FACT is that if you purchased this game, and you don't have access to the Internet, then you need to contact EA.

(2) If you do have access to the Internet, then everything is okay, because you can download the fix.



(3) Thankfully, this era we live in now isn't like the "cartridge" era--the era where there was only one "Production run," of units created. Nowadays, small shipments are produced, and when they sell out, additional shipments are created. That's why we now have games like: "Call of Duty 2: Game of the Year Edition," and "Marvel Ultimate Alliance: Gold Edition," on the store shelves now, which include all of the additional features that people had to download on Xbox Live in the past.



(4) There is a good chance that EA will swap games with anyone who doesn't have access to the Internet. And there is also a pretty good chance that even if you don't have access to the high-speed Internet, you could still use your PC's 56k modem to download the fix...you can do that sort of stuff to make it so your Xbox 360 hard drive receives the newest Backward Compatibility updates.

(5) It's also important to remember that this years 2008 version of Tiger Woods golf does NOT come close to the 2007 version on the Xbox 360!!!

I am talking about BOTH the PS3 and the Xbox 360 versions of the 2008 game...they both SUCK compared to the 2007 version on the Xbox 360...the analog controls are WAY too sensitive this year, and the gameplay truly does SUCK!!!

If you like Golf, stick with the 2007 version on Xbox 360; that really was my favorite Golf game EVER!!!

its actually the only golf game of the year that i know of.

ps3 has 2 this pile of shit and everybodys golf. in this generation everythin is so realistic but at least woth everybodys golf they break the mould with it with cartoony graphics

i read a review on this and they said the courses arn't up to graphic standard. most grass looks plain and obviously tiles.

well its a tiger woods game. they have the demo down on gamestop and the only thing that looks different is the character models

Check out the screenshot here on GR with the bunker down the bottom left. The texturing is pretty damn good IMO, and the grass is meant to be fairly short on a fairway..

The character models themselves though, judging by the one of tiger seem a little plasticy.

whoever doesnt notice the numerous changes on this years tiger woods,obviously hasnt even played it! The swing stick is a LITTLE more sensitive this year,if you dont like it ,change the difficulty level and get your kleenex

WORST GAME EVER MADE, PLAYED, INVENTED! Computer B*LLSH*T THE ENTIRE GAME. NOWHERE NEAR ACTUAL GOLF!!! BIGGEST WASTE OF MONEY.
