PRESS RELEASE

Tokyo, September 20, 2007 – Sony Computer Entertainment Inc. (SCEI) today announced that it would release DUALSHOCK®3 Wireless Controller, a new controller for PLAYSTATION®3 (PS3™) incorporating a rumble feature, in Japan in November as a separately sold accessory. It inherits the basic design and functionality of the popular PlayStation® controller, while keeping the high-precision, high response motion sensitive six-axis sensing system. Introduction to North American and European markets is expected in spring 2008.

The added rumble feature, combined with the highly realistic motion sensitive six-axis sensing system, takes gamers deeper into the world of interactivity, delivering a more intuitive, realistic and immersive game play experience. The new controller will also benefit PS3 content creators, by giving them the ability to further expand their creative imagination. PS3 titles that are already in the market may become compatible with the rumble feature through software update.

With DUALSHOCK 3 and the attractive lineup of PS3 titles incorporating the rumble feature, SCEI will introduce more new ways of enjoyment that can only be found on PS3, and will further redefine the world of entertainment.

Too bad about Home. But I'll live.

Playstation 3...and the words, "Delay," and "Cancellation," are very commonly mixed together in sentences.

Somehow I have a feeling we won't be seeing HOME in the Spring of 2008...

Why do I say that??? Because Sony said we would see "A Worldwide release of the Playstation 3 in Spring of 2006."

In reality, Sony knew for a FACT that there was NEVER a plan for a "Worldwide" release. They only said that as a lie to try and keep people from buying other systems.

Xbox Live is the BEST and it provides what everyone wants RIGHT NOW!!!

With Playstation 3 you "Wait for the Future," but with the Xbox 360 "The Future is NOW!"
Written by Fair and Balanced Tech Teacher on 2007/09/20

No, Xbox 360 is always "WAit for the Future," but in a totally different way. Wait for 6-8 weeks for your Xbox to be repaired and mailed back. HOPEFULLY, you won't have to send it back again in 5 minutes. (ala Kotaku guys)

XBL has still failed to deliver 40P lag free games as well, and I pay for it, so....

Yeah because of course, nothing have EVER been delayed for the XBox 360. :-P

both of are dumb !

both systems are future and now !

HOME HAS TO BE DELAY CAUSE ITS GONNA BE THE BEST ONLINE SERVICE !!!!!!!!!! EVER !!!!!

Dual Shock 3 being delay is dumb but they might have a reason and top of that i am also impressed the fact how many games already supports it !

Ugh... they never said that DualShock3 will be delayed heh.

"Dual Shock 3 will make its debut in Japan this November, and North America/Europe this Spring."
