The new Buccaneer table is available for download, and at the low low price of zero, as well! Good to hear the game is still being supported, for now is the time for those of you who passed this one over to give it a second look! PRESS RELEASE San Francisco, CA – October 31, 2007 – Zen Studios, a videogame developer and digital publisher known for its innovative arcade, strategy and action games, announced today the release of Buccaneer, a free downloadable expansion table for the popular Pinball FX game on Xbox Live Arcade. The Buccaneer expansion table, complete with pirate motifs and swashbuckling sounds and effects, is available for download starting today. Pinball FX was released on Xbox Live Arcade earlier this year and combines the arcade thrills of traditional pinball with enhanced game play, unparalleled graphical detail and exciting, innovative features not found in any other pinball game. The Buccaneer expansion table will be “free booty” for owners of the full version of Pinball FX (available for 800 Microsoft Points, or $10 USD). This was a really cool pinball game. I think it's nice that they are adding stuff for free. I also think it's nice that they cut the prices for some of the games, such as Lumines--a game that I wanted to play all along, but I refused to pay 1200 points ($15) for. Now that they lowered it to 800 points ($10) I was willing to get it...but I have to say that I like the $5 games more than the $10 ones.

I won't be buying anymore xbla games until some quality games come out for it. It just seems like they are releasing subpar games right now. Castle Crashers won't probably be out until 2008. Risk will finally come out in 2015 or something. I'd like to see some old school RPGs come out like the bards tale and such....



oh and it is good that they are releasing free content btw.
