	Recently, as we reported, rumors about a PS3 version of Bioshock have been cropping up again. Well, 2K Games has moved, yet again, to quash these rumors. A 2K moderator has firmly stated "There will be no PS3 version of BioShock. It has been explained time and time again." >Link

The developers actually pointed out that they originally tried to include the PS3 in the design of Bioshock, but the Playstation 3 couldn't handle the graphics of the game in the same way that the Xbox 360 and PC could.

Bioshock isn't the sort of PC game with "Average" hardware requirements, like Unreal Tournament 3 is...Bioshock is a BIG BOY with AWESOME graphics and GREAT gameplay that is never the same twice!

That is the reason why Bioshock is nominated for Game of the Year by so many places.

your right krogan even n64 games can not be played in ps3, ( dumbass, hes the same guy who said about government told ps3 to step down, HAHHAHAH )

so many romors, so many refuted, but i wouldnt be suprised if it actually made it to the ps3 at any point and time

No, my friend, what Konami is saying about Metal Gear Solid 4 being released for the Xbox 360 is VERY DIFFERENT.

Metal Gear Solid 4, Final Fantasy 13, and Final Fantasy 13 Versus are all currently in development for the Xbox 360.

Everyone who knows about the videogame industry is fully aware that this is a fact.

For example, at the Leipzig Convention in Germany, Konami's Developer, Hideo Kojima, was showing MGS4 to the audience. One of the many editors in the room asked if Metal Gear Solid 4 was in development for the Xbox 360. Kojima-san responded by saying, "Metal Gear Solid 4 has not been officially announced for the Xbox 360...Yet."



When Kojima briefly paused, and then said "Yet," everyone in the audience burst out laughing because everyone in the audience knows for a fact that Metal Gear Solid 4 IS actually in development at Konami, and has been for a long time...it just hasn't been "Officially" announced, yet.

The reason why MGS4 has not yet been "Officially" announced...yet...is because of people who are actually gullible enough to believe Sony that MGS4 is an exclusive PS3 game. People like that will allow false promises to provide them with motivation to buy the PS3. In reality, it is common knowledge that Metal Gear Solid 4 is already in development for the Xbox 360.



With Metal Gear Solid 4, we hear Hideo Kojima say, "MGS4 could be done on the PS3, the Xbox 360, and the PC."

But with Bioshock we hear the developers say that only the PC and Xbox 360 hardware can handle the game.

There is no doubt that Metal Gear Solid 4 is coming to the Xbox 360, and there is no doubt that Bioshock is NOT coming to the Playstation 3.

Yes, Sony has had the following problems with the Playstation 3 that have caused massive problems with defective units:

(1) The newest problem is with Firmware Update 2.0. The majority of people receiving this Firmware Update are experiencing problems that cause severe glitches or absolute defects with their Playstation 3. This problem was 100% confirmed yesterday!



(2) The government of Taiwan heard THOUSANDS of complaints from citizens saying that their PS3 systems were defective, yet Sony refused to honor the warranty. Finally, the government stepped in and told Sony that if they wanted to do business in Taiwan any more, then they would need to honor those warranties. Sony decided to honor the warranties after that, but Sony also tried to LIE...AGAIN, and say that they only received two or three (make up your mind Sony!) systems that needed repair. In reality, they received THOUSANDS of defective PS3 systems that needed repair or replacement.

(3) Parts of Europe are also reporting problems with the Playstation 3 being defective.

CianMCL, he has no proof. never does. he just speaks and makes up BS and hopes it comes true one day.

like mgs4 and devil may cry he never had proof in the beginning just sed it for the sake of sayin it. he sez it now cuz every developer is going multiplatform. there will be very little exclusives from now on because of dev costs unless its published by the manufacturer or a prior agreement is made

i agree CianMCL... i just received the current EGM, and almost all games coming for 360 are also coming on PS3. i noticed the PS3 had more exclusives, not counting MGS4, Killzone 2, and many others then the 360, but only like 2 more. the one with exclusives coming out is the Wii...

funny thing is, Uncharte is also a 3rd party PS3 exclusive game. and Naughty Dog has made XBOX games, so no one can say its soley a PS game company. like the Ninja Gaiden team that loves working with the XBOX family, Naughty Dog loves working with the PS family, yet not one word out of Urdnots mouth saying that this game will makes it way to the 360... i think its a great game, but i guess it has to be great in his eyes for him to determine its being released on the 360 too :P

1) Bioshock isnt graphically impressive

2) It is a standard shooter that borrows heavily from their older (and much better) game System Shock 2

3) The only reason it would not be in development for ps3 is either the dev team are finished with it (working on something else) or via kickbacks from *anonymous* interested external parties in an atempt to secure exclusivity.
