Gamestop Reports Record 7bil Sales, Wii Shortages Continue > |

Gamestop has reported a record 7 billion in sales this quarter, and has gone even further to say that the stores seem not to be affected by the current economic downturn. In fact, according to GamesIndustry, GameStop is planning to open another 600 stores this year. Good for us here at GR, we suppose. On a sad note, GameStop does expect the Wii shortages to continue, with consoles selling out within hours still.
