	According to research by a UK-based firm, now that Blu-Ray has more or less won the next-gen format war, it will find its way into 29.4 million homes by the end of the year. By 2012, the firm expects over 132 million homes to house Blu-Ray players. "HD-DVD's withdrawal leaves the way open for Blu-ray to become a major revenue earner for technology vendors and content owners alike," said David Mercer, Principal Analyst. "The 265 million homes that will own an HDTV by 2012, and Hollywood's need for a new growth engine, represent huge incentives for the industry to coordinate marketing activities and demonstrate unified support for the successor to DVD." >Link

everyday is gonna be a great news for me since I finally bought a PS3

and with the latest update firmware, it jsut getting better and better !

Doubt Blu-Ray will be in 29.4 million homes by the end of the year. Seeing as how they aren't even in half that many homes right now. But 20 million by years end would still be good. Congrats on your PS3 purchase BlackTiger. Now I can actually give your posts a little bit more credibility...
