Funny, but it seems the Wii will be getting TV content before the PS3, believe it or not. The BBC iPlayer will be available shortly on the Wii console. The iPlayer offers users content from multiple BBC TV shows and channels, including News 24 and the BBC's radio stations. Sounds like a good start to us. You will have to pay a one-time fee to install the internet channel, the BBC is looking into ways to make it free in future. Nice!

For the BBC it makes sense to deliver on the biggest platform first and then follow for the rest at a later date.
