hmm... i wonder if the added blu-ray drive will make the 360 cost like $600...
Written by PimpDaddy on 2008/05/02

If it did, it would still be a better deal than the PS3 :p Since we all know the PS3 cant keep up with the 360 in the graphics department...

Soon you will not only get the RRoD while playing games, but while watching movies. sweet.
Written by PimpDaddy on 2008/05/02

Yes RROD rules. I cant wait for my first RROD. Since according to the FUD that the SDF uses every 360 gets RROD. I guess every 360 but the 2 I have purchased :p

I guess thats why PS3's have such a low hardware failure rate this generation. People use them to watch movies instead of games. Cant really overheat your PS3 if you never play games...

Lol PimpDaddy is just mad cause he has to, once again, shell out more money for ANOTHER add on for his 360 and that it now will cost him more than a ps3. Just keep trying to convince yourself that the 360 is worth it.

I dont have to do anything, I didnt get the wifi adapter or HD-DVD add on. Why??? Because they are optional. Unlike the idiots who swallowed Sony's whole $600.00 load thanks to Blu-Ray :p

DVD's are fine for me. No need to pay out the arse for the same movie, only in high definition just because I dont have any games to play like the SDF. I know what I got my console for.

The SDF is the ones who should be mad, always waiting for things like games, forcefeedback, integrated online that us 360 owners have had since day 1, which also happens to have been a year earlier than PS3 owners could buy thier console.

Sucks to be anybody who waited all that time to get a PS3 thanks to Sony's BS hype rather than getting a 360. But you guys should rejoice. All that waiting b3yond produced. Wait for it... Wait for it... Wait for it... $30.00 Blu-Ray movies. Yay!!!!!

Its Worth it to MS don't think they won't drop the price of the System before the release of a Blu-ray player add-on for new comers to even it out with the price of a PS3 gaming sysem.

@Jersey, you are really convince that a blu-ray players makes a better gaming system. Sony & game developers shown the extra bullsh!t is not needed to make a better game thats why they are optional for the 360.

360 alone has more games, better review for cross platform which is becoming the norm, plus better attach rate. Meaning if you friends has the game and like its, sooner or later you'll be getting it too.

Consumers will shell out more cash for the B1u-ray add on, do they have to? No.. I would recommend hooking up the 360 to pC using Tversity and stream 700mb dvdrips and its shows as good or better than digital cable even when you stretch the size its really close to the DVD version .

I think its silly to base your purchase of a gaming system on the idea that your movies has 1.5x more clarity while the average joe is still watching and is content with the average dvd movie or even worst a bootleg version of a movie, or a downloaded version.

@LMAO at PimpD, $30 per movie group LOL.. thats half the price of a game right.. I would never pay half the price of a game just for a movie. Damnnn!!!

Every time you buy blu-ray movie is like buying a add-on for the 360. but its ok to them SDF, because its Sony.. I guess.

Hello Fellow Gamers. Again with the Blu-Ray rumors. Seriously, We don't really need Blu-Ray. I can watch Blu-Ray & Other Hi-Def multimedia movies on my X360 via the network or USB Hard Drive. No wear & Tear on My X360.

@B1ueBurneR - You can use more than Tversity to stream Hi-Def Multimedia.

BTW, $30 is a little too steep to watch movies I already own.

I never said the blue ray makes a better game system. I also never said I bought the ps3 to watch movies.I'm just laughing at all the 360 owners that, once again, have to buy another add on. Sure the 360 has more games, but only because they decided to rush production to beat the ps3 and wii. Did it make sense? I don't think so. The ensuing aftermath of extremely disgruntled 360 owners that are still dealing with problems is enough to say they lost. Maybe if Microsoft didn't take it upon themselves to decide when the next gen console release race started they would have had a better product. Ok now go ahead and keep trying to convince each other that the 360 is better.

@Jersey, I want to convince you, that your elbow is not your bunghole.

Well Jersey if they were Sony we'll still be waiting for Next-Gen to start. "The ensuing aftermath of extremely disgruntled 360 owners that are still dealing with problems is enough to say they lost. " but yet they are still ahead of its next-gen competitor the PS3, but yet you think they lost. Cross Platforms games sells more on the 360, but yet it lost. I predict that the blu-ray add-on fails.. why because its not really meant for HD-movies is more just for disc space.

jersey732: FYI nobody who owns a 360 has to buy any add-ons. It's called optional. Why cant the SDF get it through thier heads. Hey thats great for you guys that Sony decided to forcefeed Blu-Ray into every PS3 and charge you guys for it. If you think it makes the PS3 the better console then thats your opinion. But like I said I didnt have to wait a year longer and spend $200.00 more for the same games.

Ask 3rd party developers how they feel seeing the low amounts of PS3 game sales in comparison to 360 sales. Ask them how they feel about Blu-Ray taking away thier sales...
Written by jersey732 on 2008/05/04

I would have been fine without the Blu-Ray, that's not the reason I bought a ps3 and the games look pretty damn good on my 42" LCD tv. The other reason for the 360 games selling so fast is because you guys get bored way too quick with 360 games so as soon as a new one is released you guys buy it and forget about whatever you were just playing and that's been admitted to me buy a few of my friends that have 360's.
Written by PimpDaddy on 2008/05/04

jersey732: Nice spin job. You sure you dont work for Sony??? Bottom line is that the 360 has the highest game attach ratio in the history of videogames. Fact is most people that buy a 360 are hardcore videogame players and spend thier money on games, not movies, not demos, not repurchasing controllers for force feedback.

Sony is so sad they have to pack in thier best games to sell consoles like RFOM, Motorstorm, and now GTA4, and soon to be MGS4. Last place must suck b3yond...
