Grand Theft Auto IV Download Content Delayed >

	The parent company of Rockstar games today anoune that the first of the Grand Theft Auto IV downloadable content that was slated for release soon is now delayed. The content is now scheduled for November 1, 2008 to January 31, 2009. That is a pretty big window. The only reason given for the delay is that it now provides "better balance" to the company's overall release schedule. (Thanks, NWO) >Link

The delay isn't a result of the 360 at all. In fact, it has NOTHING to do with the 360.

The delay was done to maximize profits for the game.

Cause you know, 360 is pulling in quite a bit of money with them...

You guys can continue waiting beyond and playing behind now.

In that case might as well delay to two years, in order for grand theft auto to get 15 million copies sold !

Dudeman: Were not waiting beyond for the game of GTA4. We got it the same day you did only without freezing. We got rumble built into our original controllers, so there was no need to go out and buy new controllers. Our online service worked fine, where as your online serve either had to be turned off to get the game to work, or else you couldnt get into multiplayer matches. PSN sucks d!ck.

You want to talk about delays, then stick to games. Not some DLC that is optional. Why don't you talk about the 2 Sony exclusive games that just got cancelled??? Or HOME and Killzone 2 being repeatedly delayed??? Aren't you still waiting for in-game XMB??? Or the fact that a franchise known for it's roots with the Playstation is sellign better on the 360. Rockstar is raking in the money on this game. If they want to spread out the DLC to milk GTA 4, it's thier choice. Becuase unlike PS3 owners, 360 owners have other games to keep them busy till the "optional" DLC comes out. Your starting to sound more like BlackTiger every day...

dudeman: Are you serious??? The reason 360 owners bought the 360 version is because they own the 360. Just like PS3 owners owners bout the PS3 version. If you were somebody that owned both consoles this may affect you. I just hope dual console owners weren't stupid enough to pick the inferior PS3 version. The reason DLC was hyped is because it makes the 360 version that much more superior. The bottom line is 360 owners go the same game as PS3 owners. And whenever the DLC comes out they have the option of purchasing additional content that PS3 owners can olny dream about. I don't see any 360 owners waiting or crying. I just see them laughing at cancelled games and delayed games for the PS3.

Delayed DLC. Like that has any significance at all??? Are you that much in denial??? 360 owners already won. They got the game on the same day as PS3 owners did. Last generation GTA was a timed exclusive. Not any more. If thats the best you can do maybe your better off hanging out at SonyDefenseForce. Do us a favor and take BlackTiger with you. Please!!! Arthur you were talking about Install base, technically PS3 is doing better than Xbox360 in comparison.

Xbox360 had one year head start, but if your really compare it, PS3 is selling 12 percent faste, go to gameindustrybiz.com

Only thing Xbox is beating PS3 is North America, with Europe PS3 has been outsellig Xbox 360 since last fall...

And another thing Final Fantasy hasn't been released on PS3 cause of the install base? shouldn;t you think, if that's the case they would've release it to Xbox360, but of course they can't, because with their graphic engine its design for PS3, and 360 can't handle at the moment cause of the HDD issue !

ok,so i registered for this site just to comment here.

if i had a ps3 i would have bought this game for it but the controls are way too sensitive for me. a friend of mine has both systems and he has the ps3 version and has considered trading it in for the 360 version. and "dudeman" i don't think the delay is what has gotten "pimpdaddy" all riled up. i think it is the fact that the PS3 guys try to down talk DLC like its nothing. when, in fact, it doesn't make it a "different" game. only a better one. so yeah we may have to wait a bit longer for DLC but the PS3 has to wait even longer.
