It seems that along with going back to the drawing board with the game, Splinter Cell: Conviction may not feaure the classic voice of Sam Fisher we have been loving since game one -- Michael Ironside. It seems that there is a new net rumor surfacing that Ironside is being replaced. In fact, according to SarcasticGamer, their "source" reports that even Ironside himself has not been informed of this yet. Rumor mill for now, this screams rumor, in fact, but all the news that's fit to print and all that...

I can't remember, so I guess not, but at least the series is trying to reinvent it's self, MGS4 looks like a hard act to follow.
