Son Of Godfather Author Sues Over Godfather Game >

The son of author Mario Puzo, the famed writer of The Godfather novels on which the movie trilogy was based, is set to sue Paramount Pictures over revenues obtained from EA's "The Godfather" game. He is seeking at least $1 USD in damages for breach of contract. Puzo himself died in 1999, leaving his children in charge. Apparently a deal was struck with Paramount in 1992 to give Puzo a share of any revenues connected with any Godfather "audio-visual" products, due to the low fee originally paid for the film rights. $1 Million USD seems a tad low to us.
