the ps3 controller is the worst its not even from this generation its 3 generations old, sony are just not good enough to design a new controller, it has been said by many the 360 controller is the best controller design ever even thogh to me i think the gamecube controller is the best.

What the hell is a Mini-Camera??

The controllers don't need any changes, if GTA can sell 22 million copies without anyone complaining of complecated controls, then why reduce the number of buttons which have been there for years.

We don't need, less buttons, motion control, or stupid cameras, we need new creatively awesome/different games

that reach out to people even more than GTA, not sequels (Gears of War 2, Resistance 2, etc)

Cliffy smoked one too many sausages. I love the DaulShock3 but the Xbox 360 controller is the top dog right now.

I actually like the PS3 controller better for FPS's and fighting games, but the 360 is better for most everything else. So much more comfortable. My only gripe with the 360 controller is that my fingers sometimes accidentally press down the RB and LB buttons. And the D-Pad sucks big time. So I have 2 gripes.

*Child confirmed* Only a child with small hands thinks the 360 controller is too bulky. My children actually prefer the PS3 controller to the 360 controller because the PS3 controller is smaller. Same with my wife.

I agree the dpad is much better for fighting games but not for fps or racing games. I think the 360 was the perfect combination/evolution of the Dreamcast and Dualshock 3 controllers from last generation.

Well folks based on most response here I think we have a winner THE XBOX 360 controller is #1 choice for a gaming. I even use it on my PC, I tried playing RE4 with it, but I don't know if the controller sucks for that game or if its that game itself. If the PS3 controller is so fantastic, why doesn't EVERY game support all of it's features, and why were there 2 versions released of it? Let's face it, the best controller this time around goes to the Nintendo Wii. Who would have ever thought a stick would be so f'n cool? The Wii controller even won an Oscar!

^^^The Wii controller ? It gets creativity points, but it's not for hardcore gaming. Games have to be tailor made around the controller and thats a bad thing IMO. You'll never see games like COD/Halo being played online with that type of controller. IMO...It would never work....Thats why the 360 controller gets top honors HANDS DOWN.
