Many of you asked why Alan Wake was missing from E3 2008. Well, maybe it is because Microsoft has plans for the title. If you check this contest page, gamers can try for a shot to be digitally inserted into the game during a trip to the Tokyo Game Show 2009. This tells us the game will be showing there, at the least. Then again, if the game is still early enough to digitally add an entire character, we do not hold out much hope for a 2009 release. Rumor mill for now.

um this info is all wrong. If you read the page it saysLet the games begin with a trip to Finland to be digitally mastered into Alan Wake’s world, then jet off to Tokyo to the 2008 Tokyo Games Show to be on the scene and on the screen!thats 2008 not 2009!if you try to register it gives you the error:Thanks for stopping by.
