Splinter Cell 4 Not Until Fiscal 2009/10 > |

The new Splinter Cell game, after being taken back to the drawing board, now will not be released until fiscal 2009-10, said Ubisoft in their most recent financial report. That's between April 1, 2009 and March 31, 2010 , folks. The game is due out on PC and Xbox360 as of now. Apparently, in a conference call following the announcement, Ubisoft pres Yves Guillemot added: "Splinter Cell is a very important franchise for Ubisoft and we have high anticipation for this game. It is a major product and we want it to be able to catch all the gameplay opportunities it is offering to us today. There are lots of opportunities that we want to take and so that is why we can give [them] a little bit more time to make sure it can become a huge product."
