Halo Movie Back From The Dead? >

	It looks like the Halo movie project may not be totally dead. According to LatinMovieReview, a new script for a prequel movie (based on the Fall of Reach novelization), is being penned by Stuart Battie (the man behind the Pirates of the Caribbean). Apparently the script's got Hollywood so hyped up that artist Kasra Farahani (Spider-Man, Hancock) has even created concept art for the film's eventual pitch to Microsoft. Stay tuned! >Link

i wasnt really looking forward to a halo movie. we all pretty much know what happens. one of the ideas i did like though was having Master Chief be a secondary character while the movie follows a specific marine. that could've worked. but a movie based on a preqel to halo? i'd definately watch!

incoming00, I agree with you perfect on this one buddy!

Seeing the story of a Spartan other than Master Chief would be cool, because it would allow the actor to avoid having a helmet on the whole time.

Plus, the thought of having the actor meet up with Master Chief and having the Legendary Master Chief save the day is AWESOME!

Also, the thought of a prequal movie based on the Forerunners is AWESOME...maybe it could end with a prophecy of Master Chief or something. That would be cool.

F&Ck that, I want to see Master Chief, throw stick bombs, grenades, rocket launcher, beat downs, swords, pistol whipping, no scope snipping, Flamethrower, spike bombs, I want the whole 9, no John Conner bullsh!t like the Terminator, if they do it like that I might have to wait 15 to 20 years to finally see master chief in a movie. Who's with me??!

I have never seen a videogame actually be turned into a good movie. I'm all for wanting what you want in a Halo movie B1ue. But I don't believe it will ever happen...

They should make it all CG like that game teaser, they released 06 December.

@Whyte420 Street fighter casting was horrible. Guile was supposed to be American and the person who played him, his english was the equivalent of VagTiger's spelling, and then Chun-li was played by an Asian American, instead of a Mi Love U Long Time, type of girl.

The games' storyline was no good, what makes you think the movies is going to be any better. 100 bucks says it gets released on bluray ... wouldnt that be a kick in the pants.

tr1p1ea: Ya I forgot games need an Academy Award worthy story to be any good nowadays. Thanks to Movie Gear Solid 4. WTF ever happened to games that were just easy to pick up and fun to play. Now we need games that are half cut scene half game? Keep your 100 dollars. It's a safe bet that anything that comes to home movies will have a Blu-Ray version...

I'm gonna watch the new Star Wars CGI film. Maybe it would be better for videogames type movies to go CGI instead of live action. They always f*ck up the story in live action films...
