	In our commitment to bring you more PC game news, here we have the newly-revealed minimum specs for Far Cry 2 on the PC. Keep in mind, this game runs on the new CryTek 2 engine, which is up there with the big boys. The minimum specs reflect that too, with 12gb space needed, if we are reading the specs correctly. Yes, we said 12. Check it for yourself to confirm. The rest of the specs are not as bad, with a 3.2 P4 or 2.6 Dual/Quad core needed, as well as an nVidia 6800/ATI x1650 or better. 1GB RAM is pretty standard these days for a gaming machine, but 12gb, holy cow. Long ago I realized that it was better to have an external hard drive specifically dedicated to videogames.

Wow, with Xbox 360 DVD Dual Layer, they need to compress real good and lower down the textture resolution...

PS3 is in good position.

Remember Rage for Xbox360, it's already an issue...

The PC version will have to install different textures, models etc for each visual quality setting so it will be much larger than the console versions which have a fixed specification machine so fitting it into 9GB should be no problem.

But hey, they haven't said anything yet, so far it look good from a 360 version, lets just hope these devlopers aren't complaining :p

Having "drunk the Kool-Aid" also refers to being a strong or fervent believer in a particular philosophy or mission — wholeheartedly or blindly believing in its virtues.

When I say drink the coolaid I mean you just blindly worship Sony and they can do no wrong in your eyes. Thats why you put the 360 down so much. Because your insecure.

This is why PC gaming is dead. If what 65% of computers use chipsets and only like less than 5% have at least a graphics the play some of 'these' on medium/high why the do developers make games that require so much to run. And the blame lack of PC sells on piracy. Negro please.
