	While the price hasn't been exposed yet, we can bet that it's not going to be inexpensive. The newest member of the Playstation 3 accessory family, the Wireless Keypad, will use Bluetooth to communicate with the PS3 (and any other B.T. devices you need Keyboards for). The unit mounts on top of the controller in similar fashion to the Mad Catz Thumbpad. The keypad debuts this November; have your thumbs and wallets ready. >Link

the madcatz one for the ps3 has been out for ages as well. almost bought one a while back.

I will say that this Sony wireless keypad looks a lot better than the Mad Katz thumpad.

ya i agree, the madcatz one was cool, but not as good to what Sony is now offereing. i like the 360 one better because its easier to access with thumbs. thats mainly why i didnt buy the MadCatz version for the ps3, but maybe i'll look into this one after its been out

This keypad is more useful then the MS one... I can actually go online on my PS3 and save the trouble of using the controller

Does it have backlighting so you can type in the dark. surely...right?

Sony's use of a built in qwerty is preferred by yours truly.

The fact that the built in keyboard on the PS3 actively searches based on spelling andremembers what I've typed before means I won't be needing to buy this.

Or better yet, I can just use an actual keyboard if I wanted. I'm not a chick, so texting that requires these add ons are really useless to me.
