Sony has revealed that along with a closed beta that starts next month, Sony will launch the HOME PSN service in Asia this Fall. No word on North America or Europe, but we assume the non-mention means no dice for US just yet.

This has been delayed into "who cares?" in my mind. Much like Brett Favre over the summer and the Democratic (communist) National Convetion, I'm tired of hearing about a vague release date that keeps running away like a French army.

Your right VaeVictus,

But there are lot of ppl who has interest still follow,

I mean how many ppl followed Brett Favre news crap.

Just same as HOME...

I'm tired of Sony talking heads continuously bringing up the "eventual" release of this service. It's been said a 1000 times...shut up Sony and release it when it's ready. Until then, announce NOTHING.

^ yeah but if Sony didn't announce anything then people would be assuming that they have nothing. Just look at MS and Ninty for perfect examples.

The public beta should be released worlwide this fall, so you guys should have this rather soon.

so long as they really dont delay the complete version, no one will be complaining

dudeman: I had another momma joke about test driving. But the "moderator" in me tells me I should refrain from using it :p

WarHawk tournament this Sunday noon PST. Don't flake this time...

Sorry SDF. Home gives new meaning to the phrase "Wait B3yond". I just hope it gets here before the decade runs out...

What will be released this year will be far from "complete" arthur
Written by arthur56k on 2008/08/28

at least people will get a taste of what it has to offer.

that in itself is better than nothing

You were off by 1 number :p

I'm still interested in hearing about Home, but agree, it's taking way too long to come out. At the same time, I'd rather wait and get a good product than have them release it 9 months ago half baked. I think the potential for Home is great, especially if they get game developers involved.

That being said, I think Home is more of a journey than a destination. But I understand why people are tired of waiting for the journey to get started.
