Metallica, the Napster haters, of all bands, is releasing its Ninth studio album, Death Magnetic, in its entirety, as downloadable content for Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock on both the Xbox360 and Playstation 3. i remember hearing about this a few weeks/months back and as we got closer to the release, i didnt hear anything. thanks for the heads DM, after hearing more of the album, i may still consider this download... sadly, i would've preferred rock band over GH3...

i would like to add that this news contradicts Metallica's first news of debuting their first single(possibly "Day That Never Comes") on Rock Band before the airwaves... i guess Activision really wanted Metallica all for themselves and GH :p
