	This morning, Lucasarts revealed that the demo for The Force Unleashed, the new Star Wars game, has broken the demo download record. Over 1 million downloads were recorded in just the first 8 days on the XB Marketplace. The demo is also on the PSN, and reaches another 1.3 million gamers worldwide. That's 2.3 million or so combined. The game hits on September 16, 2008, so make sure you have pre-ordered it. >Link

am i the only one who doesn't have a boner for this game?

Your not alone...I was pretty excited for this game after watching the Qore videos, but after playing the demo it was clear that it was just "Alright" and not great.

I was ready to pre-order after seeing the videos, but once i actually played it, I completely changed my mind. I thought the controls felt kind of clunky and it seemed like it would get very repetitive after a while.

I think it will be a great rental. No multiplayer = no replay value for me.

I used to be a big Star Wars fan. Loved the original Dark Forces FPS from way back when. But I don't know, something died in me after watching Episodes 1, 2 and 3. Now anything Star Wars just doesn't have the same luster anymore. Damn you George Lucas!!! You should have quit while you were ahead. You killed Indiana Jones for me too!

Oh yeah, also spent countless hours playing X-Wing too! Ah, the good old days...

I thought the game was great, it looked and ran better than the tech demos and that's a rarity these days.

However, much like other SP only games, I'm afraid that once I beat it once, the fun will be over.

yeah i wasn't too into it. seemed all right but i think i'm burned out by star wars stuff 0.o
