	Sony and developer David Jaffe, the people behind the hit franchise God of War, are being sued for copying other's ideas to make the game, it seems. Two claimants allege that they sent in ideas, including a screenplay, to Sony pictures back in 2002, and that the ideas are strikingly similar to what showed up in God of War. Ideas on storytelling from Greek mythology are all "borrowed." This lawsuit will go no where. This is an attempt by a couple of people who decided to wait out the legal process until GOd of War became a successful enough game that they might get a settlement out of it.

I can understand why these guys would be sore. I mean, it does sound like Sony basically let them pitch a game idea to them but instead of signing them up, just went and made the game based on what they were pitched. Not so cool. But I agree, I don't think they have a legal case unless they've copied more than just plot ideas.

VaeVictus, i dont think they are suing because its based on Greek, it's more concept of the game!

If this is true, why did it take them 3 years to figure it out?

I'm sorry but this reaks of BS. Either way it'll be a quick to the point case, they can either prove it or not. If they can prove it (doubtful) then sony will probably settle out of court instead of dragging this on in court.

Who knows, but I don't agree with this.
